Steady-state simulation of Ahmed body Part 3 of 3 (Result)

A steady-state simulation of Ahmed body was done by simpleFoam with realizableKE turbulence model. Drag coefficients are compared with the result of wind tunnel tests [1] as follows:

• Drag coefficients

CW=0.379 (against 0.378 from [1])
CP=0.346 (against 0.321 from [1])
CK=0.035 (against 0.016 from [1])

CS=0.228 (against 0.213 from [1])

CB=0.082 (against 0.092 from [1])
CR=0.033 (against 0.057 from [1])

• Pressure distribution on the y=0 plane and the z=0.144 plane
